Linn Co. Sheriff Searches for Missing Inmate

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Officials at the Linn County Jail are asking for the public's help to locate an inmate that did not return from a jail furlough.

Cole Michael Offerman is serving time in the Linn County Jail on charges of Possession with the Intent to Deliver over 5 grams of Methamphetamine and Attempting to Elude.

He was granted a 5 hour furlough on Wednesday from 9 a .m. until 2 p.m.. Authorities said he failed to return.

Offerman is described as a white male, 6’2” tall weighing approximately 240 pounds.
