Another Ballot Measure for Linn-Mar Voters

The Linn-Mar school board will try again to get funding to build two new schools in that growing district.

Monday night, the board discussed putting a $55 million bond issue up to voters in September.

The board says that would pay for two new buildings for just fifth and sixth grade students.

Voters rejected an $80 million bond issue last fall. That one would have paid for three new schools and renovations at four others.
