An Allamakee County man has died as a result of injuries suffered when a tree fell on him.
According to a news release, it happened around 1:15 p.m. Sunday on Forest Mills Road.
Sheriff's Deputies said the man has been cutting down a tree at a residence when it fell on him, pinning him under the tree.
Authorities pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Deputies have not yet released the man's name.
