CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Starting Monday, Oct. 16, Blairs Ferry Road NE will be closed at the railroad tracks just east of 380.
The Canadian National Railroad is replacing the rails and driving surface between the tracks.
Work should take 5 days.
Detour routes include:• Eastbound traffic to use the southbound interstate frontage road to the Collins Road interchange, east to Center Point Road, then north to Blairs Ferry Road.
• Westbound traffic to go south on Center Point Road to Collins Road, west to the northbound interstate frontage road to Blairs Ferry Road.
• Traffic is encouraged to find alternate routes.
